An American Brittany Story
Welcome to Hill's Brittanys web site.
Located in Southern New England.
Over the past 20+ years we have strived to produce
a well balanced dog. These dogs may be shown in conformation shows, will
have a keen desire to hunt and will find and point their birds.
Many years ago when we began this journey we bred good hunting stock to good hunting stock. Now we compete in many AKC events and
have maintained a strong line of dog that if given the right training can do it all.

We only raise a litter every now and again always keeping in mind the
breed standard for the American Brittany.  No further litters planned for 201 .

We belong to two regional Brittany clubs in our area and judge various levels in the AKC Hunt test for pointing breeds.
Here, at the Hill house, we strive to improve what we have with every breeding we do.
Not all of our dogs are shown in the show ring or are run in field events, but all can hunt and all are very good companions and family members.

All of our dogs are healthly and their hips are
certified with the Orthopedic Foundation For Animals(OFA).
The OFA consists of a panel of 3 Veterinarians that evaluate
hip films and grade them in accordance to your breed.
All of my adult dogs are microchipped for identification requirements of the AKC.
Stud service is available to approved bitches that have been
OFA certified and health cleared.
